To All, Hewlett cuts prices on business boxes up to 20%. Toshiba cuts corporate notebook lines up to 14%. This is because business sales of pcs are so hotttttt. Not!

The funniest line of the day came from some analyst at Giga Information Systems in San Jose. He said businesses should buy Celeron-based systems now and then switch to Katmai when they become available next quarter. Let's see, big cos. like Boeing, Caterpillar, Deere, MMM, Merck, Johnson and Johnson, Case, Coca-Cola etc. are making such high profits that they can buy a disposable pc for 3 months. Really dumb comment from a guy who needs a reality check. <G>
