Funny, my take on it was that it somewhat favored @HOME. I guess it's all in how you percieve it. I appreciate AND value your opinion though. <You would do far better to read at least some, 3 months, of this thread.> No offense intended but I had to grin a little at that one. Been reading this thread for MUCH longer than that and reading threads on ADSL much, MUCH longer than this. I remember all too well some of the very FIRST ADSL vs Cable arguments years ago. At that time I thought ADSL was a lock. I underestimated the glacial movement of the RBOC's <g>. Times and technology change. You either change with them or be left behind. I now believe Cable to be a more viable means of high bandwidth than ADSL at least for the short term. Put it this way, I think I can make more money from cable stocks right and in the near future than I can from ADSL stocks. 12 months from now I think it would be wise of me to re-evaluate. MTA
