I'm off for the rest of the year, but I'm splitting my time between trading and Xmas shopping. I'm on and off but have been getting perfect connections from home on my @home modem. Things to try if you are having trouble connecting. If you exit the program and then reconnect you'll be assigned the least used servers from the Connection Manager. If a tick chart isn't updating for a while, try another symbol to see if it loads and if so, then reenter the one you were following - it should load within a few seconds. On Level II try closing the window, or enter another symbol. In the past I have found these things to work.

Other things to have, Windows 98 runs Internet connection better than Windows 95. MS Explorer beta 5.0 runs 30% faster and has many improved Internet connections than Explorer 4.0. You can be sure you have the latest DLLs, drivers, etc from Microsoft here: windowsupdate.microsoft.com
