[Cabot Remarks] Hi Pat, I'd like your read on Cabot's Recommended Issues, from January 17. They continue to place buys on PAIR and ASND. With regards to ASND they write: " PSINet, a leading Internet service provider, has agreed to use Ascend's GRF 400 system to replace Cisco's router, which up until now have dominated the Internet router market. And Ascend has strenthened its position in the remote access marketplace through a strategic partnership with Bell Atlantic Network Intergration."
Now, without pairing off all the players, doesn't it look like Cisco needs to counter to Ascends solar plexus? And what other potential weapons (alliances) can be fabricated?
Just a wild stab before the announcement! You know, AMTX made Cabot's watch list last year---and it probably will again!
