Robert,

Your concerns about earnings, stretched valuations etc., are mine too. I'm looking at Washington as a potential proximate cause that triggers the re-evaluation. Such as - if it gets distracting enough in DC and Brazil starts to go ballistic - who is going to coordinate whatever needs to be coordinated, and if there is no obvious person who seems capable of pulling it off, what will the market do? As proximate causes go I'm ranking a dragged out drama/paralysis in Washington as a candidate. We should know in the first week, I guess, what they have in mind.

EDIT: And seeing as I've started misspelling Yeats I should probably refrain from talking about the quality of movies and TV shows. :)
