White Shoes,
Sounds great, I'll work on a list of up to 5 stocks and I think it would be interesting for us to vote on the final 20.

ALso, I have never shorted a stock, but it may be interesting to look at buying puts in stocks that are ripe for a downturn. If you feel really negative about a company's prospects, that might work well to buy 6 month puts or short a stock. If a stock goes from 30 to 10, it's the equivalent of buying a stock at 10, and it goes to 30.

In an overvalued market, it may be possible to find more stocks in this category.

Also, We can have a basket of 20 stocks, but it'd be great to have more input/discussion throughout the year. Even if it's only 5-8 people who we can continue discussing with all year and sharing ideas.

Be back soon.
