Misonix Announces Grant of Extension to Medial Device Alliance, Inc.
FARMINGDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1998--Misonix, Inc. ["Misonix"] (Nasdaq: MSON - news) today announced that it had entered into a Forbearance Agreement with the licensees of its sculpting technology, Medical Device Alliance, Inc. and LySonix, Inc., extending the cure period alloted them through January 4, 1999. The terms of the Forbearance Agreement were not described. Misonix had previously announced that it had, on October 22, 1998, declared the licensees in default, and stated that the license would terminate sixty (60) days thereafter if not cured.
