Huh?

Their earnings are stronger because:

1) Finally getting costs under control
2) PC business is good, and they sell LOTS of modems and network cards to major OEMs, so see a direct impact from this.
3) Palm III is turning into a huge success.

Certainly item #2 is partly due to interest in the internet, but a lot of it is due to a normal PC upgrade cycle which was indicated by major OEMs several months ago.
