John, I agree, this is but an opportunity. Happens to many stocks every single year and the reason to always have a little cash tucked back. Actually I have made some real nice gains by being agressive at this time of the year.
You being aware of FONR, just look how it has traded over the last few days. FONR has about a $1.40 cents per share in CASH. That means investors can have FOR FREE all Fonar's patents, manufacturing plant, about 25 PPM practices doing 27.5 million in revenue and profitable. This is all because Fonar has not pushed SALES of their Open Field MRI Quads. Yet they had good reason which will become known by the first Qt. of 1999. So you see how a stock can be selling for much less than the true value.
As an investor who buys these beat down stocks, I have done very well by taking opportunities just such as this. If one is willing to take the risk, the rewards can be GREAT. Just think, from current price, we were looking at over a DOUBLE just a few weeks ago. Well, I will speculate that We'll see at least that, if not more within the first Qt. of 1999. A double without much risk, now thats what I call a BUY ;^)
LGOV is even showing signs of recovery from the little sell off. In my opinion, potential from current price is well worth the risk.
