Bill:
Thanks Bill, I won't take it personally!
Its about time these chaps organized to combat that crap. Better late than never, but boy do they have their work cut out for them.
I think on threads like this everyone has to try and sort out who is who as best they can. I'd like to see an SI policy to have everyone post their profile based on certified documentation of some sort. I don't mind having the insiders, touts, shills etc. on board, just as long as everyone knows who and what they are. The credibility of the forum suffers too much with the use of the anonymity provided by the cyber facade. But, on the other hand we know a number of threadsters wouldn't be posting without that anonymity. What's best, or more fair; To have them and not know who they are? To not have them at all, which means we miss out on the well intentioned insights provided by some but are not bothered with the BS from many others?, or to just have 'em aboard and know who they are and what they are doing? Hard to say, but by the jist of that NR the cyber stock police are linking arms and forming lines, won't be long before the tear gas hits the street!
Thanx for the post, it's very interesting.
