Hi Brett! Let me see if I can pick your brain for a second here: Im new to Watley, and must say im rather satisfied thus far. I trade quite a bit and cant tell you how refreshing the quick confirmations are. What I have noticed is when you get partial fills, they charge full commission on each fill. Is this correct? However, you cannot put the order thru as an all or non? Unfortunately this could get quite costly if you try and buy/sell 1000 shares and receive 4 fills on each side of the trade... My other question is regarding margin.. I received a t-call warning the other day and still am not too certain why that happened.. Lets just say you have an account with 50k in it at the start of the day.. No equities. This gives you buying power of 100k right? however, if I purchase stock that has a total cost of say $99,000- than I sell it within the same day, am I now able to continue with my buying power of 100K on my next purchase? I believe the problem arose because I held a position overnight.. the next morning, I sold the equity and started trading with the assumption I had double buying power.. is this not correct?
