| The Stardust Invitational contest just ended in week 16 games. Finalists were Peter Brown (boasting the highest winning percentage) vs. Ken White (2-time champion). Peter Brown went with Atlanta -6.5, Seattle -7, Dallas -11, StLouis/Carolina Under 44, Green Bay -6.5, Denver -4, and San Francisco -7 (BB). Ken White picked Cinci/Pittsburgh Over 40, St Louis +3, St Louis/Carolina Over 44, Oakland +3, Seattle -7, Denver -4, and NYJets/Buffalo Over 41.5 (BB).
Peter Brown won the $10,000 prize with 3 of 7 correct picks. Ken White was 2 of 7. Just to show how the experts can make money, from this type of contests and also by their 900 lines (too many suckers out there who would pay for their picks and let the bookies picked their wallets).

O.k., so they were just so-so with their picks in week 16. Maybe, just maybe, their bowl picks will turn out good. They also gave their college bowl picks (not included in the final contest): Peter Brown likes UCLA -9 (vs. Wisconsin) and So.Miss. -15.5 (vs. Idaho). He thinks this is quite a mismatch, but Humanitarian Bowl officials' had to pick a home grown team to draw attendance and interests for this game in Boise, ID. Ken White likes Michigan -3 (vs.Arkansas). I am surprised none of them picked USC -16 vs. TCU, which is also Sun Bowl officials' pick of a home grown team, and ignored several other more qualified WAC teams, for this game in El Paso, TX.
