Does anybody know if S&P 500 assigns weighting to different
stocks in the index? If it is, what is the basis for determining
the weight?

I think it is interesting to see if AOL only got 1/500 of S&P or much
larger percentage than that, so that we can determine the demand
from the big boys over the next few days.
