Well, I'm both lucky and unlucky. I bought AOL at $140 in November before the two for one split so I now have a double on those shares in less than 2 months. However, I then almost doubled my position on margin at 93 a few weeks ago, the price dropped to 84 5/8 before it began to climb again. With Clinton's impeachment imminent and the bombing starting in Iraq I sold my second purchase to get out of margin in case of a market sell-off. The markets did not react to either the impeachment nor Iraq so go figure!!! Therefore, although, fortunately I still hold my original position, and it will remain my core holding, I resisted buying at the end of last week, waiting for a dip. So I could have bought back in at about 97 but didn't. My best advice is to buy this baby and hold for years. I also almost sold some other stock this morning to buy in at the dip to $116 but had to shut off my computer to leave to work. Well, you win some, you lose some, a double in 7 weeks ain't bad! I expect another double to a quadruple in the next year. I just hope the earnings release in February doesn't disappoint, but I doubt it will. JMHO.
