Thanks for filling in the blanks between Lucent and Bell Labs. I went to LU's homepage and ran a "fiber optics" search and they do have alot. I noticed the CDMA, too.

I didn't see much on ADSL other than what they're doing jointly with Paradyne. I know they're developing VDSL, but other than that I'm unclear.

If they wanted to pursue DMT, Amati would be the obvious partner.
