[AMTX Patents]

fujitsu-ede.com

Co-operation between Fujitsu and Orckit is expected to culminate in commercial samples of the ADSL chip being available during 1998. The solution offers the latest ADSL specifications implemented in Fujitsu's advanced CMOS mixed signal technology. Allowing the design of low cost compact modems and line cards based on the DMT standard, the device will support the “Issue II” requirements of the T1.413 ANSI standard.
The new chip is being developed by Orckit and Fujitsu in accordance with the specification defined by the ‘DMT ADSL Interoperability Group', of which Orckit is a leading member. The device is designed to interoperate with the products of Amati DMT ADSL licence holders worldwide.

I don't remember seeing ORCTF licensing from AMTX. Did Fujitsu? I remember Pat had a problem with this issue. It would appear to me that ORCTF and Fujitsu plan to be among the "Amati DMT ADSL license holders worldwide".
