Patriarch,

Yes, I will go back and do research before I ask too many more questions. I do not expect others to do my work for me....

BTW, I've been meaning to look at RMBS for a while. I see you are an active participant over there. Perhaps you can provide a primer.

Gosh, where should I start!

1- Intel endorses RMBS/RDRAM as next DRAM chip-to-chip interface technology.
2- Intel controls 85% of MPU market
3- by '00, all INTC chipsets will use RDRAM
4- AMD, NSM, Toshiba, Dell ,CPQ, Samsung, MU,etc....have all signed on
4- they predict RMBS will own 60% of the DRAM market by '01/'02
5- and most importantly, it's all about infrastructure, infrastructure and more infrastructure....memory module makes, testers, OEM's are gearing up for RDRAM...
6- It si proprietary open architecture that RMBS owns.
7- They produce nothing, just recieve royalties form all DRAM manu's...

Very, very, interesting story, BUT very expensive stock for now....But IF all this comes to pass the revenues and earnings will be huge...Alot of the short term money has been made, IMHO, but LT I would put some money on the table....

Just watch Intel and the OEM's for continued support....If it stops, it could get ugly...

Regards,

MileHigh

PS- Supposedly, only 50% of revenues will come from DRAM industry...
The rest from Digital TV, handhelds, video graphics, etc...
