1)...when AMZN quote.yahoo.com floats a secondary offering for say 2-5 million shares representing less than ten (10%) percent dilution biz.yahoo.com yet AMaZiNgly generating proceeds of $600M-$1.5B [would also represent a textbook Bezos move/strategy] and when barnesandnoble.com contemporaneously completes their IPO...followed up with an IBM acquisition/merger of/with Sun Microsystems*?...all contemporaneous with the SEC/Congress? legislating/enacting? specific securities statutes preventing certain day-traders practices?...and further exacerbated within 3-4 quarters when [alleged] tulip.com's e.g. egghead.com [the discount software retailer formerly known as Egghead and trading around 7 for the past ten years...] and eBay and iBay and internet.Bay and beyond.com formerly known as software.net and et al begin to report declining q-q revenues and continuing losses all simply pursuant to basic microeconomic theory, history, commoditization, fundamental business principles...what a novel.com concept...and only available at amazon.com
