PLEASE! If people are reading this thread with interest, go to your local Best Buy (or CompUSA, for that matter) for just 5 minutes. Find the iMac, and report back what you see. If you have time, talk to a salesman- and report back what you discover. Together, we can gather a lot of imperical holiday data. Good stuff! Web, Stopped by my local BB today. The iMac was up and running and had a crowd of three or four customers standing around it and standing directly behind them was a BB salesman . The salesman was staring blankly at the customers backs and didn't say a word during the short time I observed him. Also stopped by my local CUSA today. When I arrived I found a crashed iMac and no Mac salespeople. I hit the on/off button on the iMac and got it up and running again. Shortly after I walked away from the iMac several customers stopped by and checked it out. No sales, but interest in the iMac appears to remain high. Slugger
