David, In my opinion covered call writing is a good strategy with relatively low volatility stocks then tend to move marginally (low beta). That way you keep the option premiums and the stock. I'd buy my covered writes back and enjoy the ride. With stocks like AOL (market leader, premier growth name) trying to time a correction is an exercise in luck and time is not on your side.
Nothing wrong with covered writing as a strategy but not with this stock.
