Hello Walt: I have been quit busy of late., but dropped in to say hello.
I missed your debut on the Discovery Channel., it seems our programming doesnt run concurrent with Canadian programming.
Any way., I bet you were styling and profiling., maybe I can get a copy
from the Discovery Channel if it doesnt air locally.

Vaughn., I have no interest in Diamondworks., if you recall the great
Canadian Mining analyst David James put out several buys on the
stock over the course of 98. Fortunately., several times., I as well
put out warnings and alerts concerning their 12mill share warrants.,
the quality of the principals. Most reading my posts got the hint., and
had exited the stock. DMW has never been recommended by me personally.

If your reference to Sierra Leone was intended for Rex., I am fully
aware of current events. The stock has held up quit well., over the
course of 98. Most Canadian Analysts dont want to recommend a
stock they dont have a vested interest in promoting., I like that cause
when one buys he is buying true value., and not a trumped up price.
I look around over the last year., and can say confidently., that this
issue has had the least downside and the most upside on a relative
basis., except for Winspear since the selloff of 97.
I guess when the CEO continues to support the stock price to the
tune of 2mil shares purchased in the open market and another 1.5mil
to be purchased., it does lend a lot of support to the notion., that the
stock is undervalued.

In regards to IAR., which is the alternative speculation to KLA., it has
merit., but I dont own any., on a relative basis., I think 5 pipes by Major General trading at. 26C vs., Kla., or IAR which has nothing in
the way of proven kimberlite is a more value situation for the money.
Whether Major General comes up with economics that remains to
be seen., but I suspect more than a handful of pipes will be delineated on their property and or the additional 160,000 acres staked towards the east. I would say right now their pipes average
.05C a piece., and they do have a 350,000 oz of gold at Hammerdown. So why would I speculate on anything else.? Now.,
if you want to speculate on making money on the moves of the
newsletter writers., it is quit apparent that Canadian Analysts and newsletter writers will promote certain issues in Canada. Sort of like
the rooster guarding the hen house. I think Gerle has some fundamnetals inspite of the 3 prong hype by Kaiser and Bishop.,
Mountain Province., well., I called that long before Kaiser even picked up on it., ta ta., too bad his subscribers took a beating on that
one.
Lets sort of review 98:

Kaiser 4 pack theory:

Ashton Mining: Dismal failure., it was called on this thread and warning were issued. I recall a conversation early in this thread where
a few people insisted on its merits., that bigger was better., etc., etc.,
No more needs to be said.

Winspear Resources: Much of my work was lifted by the newsletter
writers off this forum. When Kaiser put it as a bottom fishing pick in
Nov of 97., it was based on deep drilling., which I anticipated in June
of 97., and advised people to buy heavily. Fortunately i took my own
advice and have a large position to date.

Mountain Province Mining:
Kaiser couldnt determine what the problem was concerning their
diamond analysis., he recommends it at 4.00C or 5.00C., when I
made it apparent on this thread that smaller stones would occupy the
intrinsic grade., he later backpeddled and said that DeBeers method
was flawed.
So maybe you can understand my reluctance at publishing anything
on these forums of value.

Gerle gold: I think they will find a few pipes on the property., so I
agree with his pick there., I dont appreciate the way however certain
Canadian issues are promoted and demoted by a stroke of the pen.

Major General Resources: This is a classic example of exactly what
I am talking about. Because Bob Bishop has eliminated this company
from his universe., I have added it., sort of a contrary move., and the
stock is cheap.

So I guess I am content at keeping my money focused on the few
quality issues., thus far it has worked quit well

Sincerely
George J. Tromp
