Has anyone noticed that literally ALL the movement in the internet stocks occurs before the bell? Looking over charts of Ebay and Yahoo and Amazon, about 90% of the upward movement occurs in morning "gap up" activity. Once the stock actually starts trading, all of them just tread water.

I remember the article recently in some news journal that said 75% of retail traders always use "at the market" orders on these issues- could it be that the entire runup is due to people placing market orders before the bell because they don't know what they're doing?
(and of course the MMs have a huge incentive to keep the game going)
