Thanks CL for the direction. I do read the other threads and learn a lot from them. One can observe all the available info, however, but fail to understand it properly in perspective, which requires an appreciation for the larger context, or framework, within which the information exists. Since contextually based understanding in any field is enabled only through experience, I was interested in how others here think these companies stack up against each other because, lacking the background others here have, I find understanding these companies in perspective that I'm comfortable with elusive. Reading the opinions of others generally focuses my research because I wonder why they think what they do if that's not apparent and I then read the threads with that question in mind in order to observe better what's different about this company or that one. This is a learning style of mine that has as much to do with my psychologist habits as it does wanting to make money. I routinely find myself wanting to contribute but alas, I fall on the rookie end of the spectrum here and have questions rather than original opinions and analysis. Will read with your suggestions in mind. Regards, Dave
