Dennis V- I was told that as tempting as the low price became, insiders may have elected not to buy any stock because of the likelyhood that deals are close. If a purchase was made, it could become a reason to delay finalizing a deal.

If I am correct, a deal could be announced in the next three weeks and as early as the first week of January on return from the holidays. If we see insider buying reported, it would be an indication that they did not have reason to believe a deal would happen soon after their purchase.
