After closing Tuesday at 122-7/8 on the NYSE, shares of AOL jumped
in pre-open trading to open at 138 after it was scheduled to be
added to the S&P 500. Deutsche Bank Securities said it raised its
target price for AMERICA ONLINE INC (138-1/16, up 1/16 @ 10:05 ET)
to $165 from $121 and reiterated the company's buy rating. AOL was
added to the S&P 500 Index, replacing Venator Corp., formerly
known as Woolworth's.
