Guy, I agree that backwards compatibility is a wonderful idea. I have found from talking to many folks here in Austin, a hotbed for web technology, that the problems can involve more than the browser. System setup...modem connection speed, etc can also play a part. I have the impression that A Spar would chuckle at our discussion. I'm expecting him to go back as far as possible. However, the future is where I am most encouraged. If FNTN is to succeed for us, it is indeed the corporate setting where the big $ are. These companies can easily afford the nearly free upgrades to insure compatibility. Individual users MUST consider themselves to be partly responsible for compatibility. To repeat the common...it's a changin' fast. Back a generation or two, ok. Beyond that, I want FNTN to be sure it works with what's current and coming. JMO.

Guy, all very interesting and thanks for keeping this important topic alive.
