Actually Lynn, you are right. I will probably get booed off the thread for this, but I just bought 3 computers. Since I plan on investing in the PC stocks for many years to come, I decided to buy a Dell model just to get a feel for the experience. Ordered it on Dec 8 and received it yesterday. The whole experience was very impressive. Dell has their act together - they are very smooth. They even congratulated me on my purchase - I told them I should congratulate them, since I was transferring $2750 from my bank account to theirs! But I know they were just trying to make me feel good about my purchase - like I said, pretty smooth. Dell's web pages are a thing of beauty. Compaq is behind there big-time but they should be able to catch up. Another thing I don't understand - I've bought too many Compaq computers to count, and have never received a catalog from them in the mail! I get one from Dell about every 2 weeks, and had never bought a computer from them. So I do belive Compaq needs to concentrate more on the little things, and I believe they will. They can definitely get a computer to you as fast as Dell, which they need to make everyone understand. Still a CPQ man through and through!

Merry Christmas to the best board on SI!!!!!!
