Big Entertainment (NASDAQ:BIGE) expands Web presence

BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec 23 (Reuters) - Big Entertainment Inc.
(NASDAQ:BIGE) said Wednesday that its bige.com division will promote
its movie merchandise store on broadcast.com (NASDAQ:BCST), aiming
to expand its presence on highly trafficked Web sites.
The bige.com store sells movie apparel, collectibles and
toys as well as other popular items, including Furbys.
bige.com said that its banners and buttons will dot the
live television, entertainment, and video channels of the
broadcast.com Web site, which reels in a half million users
each day.
Big Entertainment said on Dec. 7 that bige.com would become
the move merchandise store for Hollywood Online, a site which
features movie information.
Big Entertainment shares closed at 11-3/4 on the Nasdaq on
Tuesday, below its year high of 21 but above its year low of
2-1/8.
