Very interesting:

"Forecross will be able to provide its automated factory services for Year 2000 renovation and independent validation, without requiring the shipment of customer code to its U.S. factory."

That should alleviate some of the fears of the European sites that are afraid of shipping all their code overseas. This should permit Forecross to compete with the remediation firms that have a European presence.

"The customer's code never leaves the customer's site ..."

I don't get it. How is this a "factory service" if the code never leaves the customer's site? Seems to me that code still has to be shipped to the "secure factory". Which means it leaves the customer's site, contrary to the second claim.

Either this press release was misleading, or I don't understand how Forecross does "renovation and independent validation".

Or, both.
