I forwarded your last post to a CPQ north american marketing director who should be able to at least get the feedback to someone who cares. I'll let you know what I hear.

But he did tell me that there has been a lot of focus on how to drive the web sales business, which is not yet reflected in the web site. They are doing something innovative with AltaVista which will cause a change in the way all of this stuff is done, he thinks sometime after the first of the year but probably first quarter. He agreed that the current web page is not too strong - in fact he used much stronger language than that - but he said that the 'A' team was working a different approach, the current work was contracted out to get something up immediately. He also said their goal is not to just 'out-Dell' Dell, but to do something that sets a new standard for online commerce.

I'll let you know if I hear anything back on this.
