One of the primary motivators of wall street analysts and pundits is the grave and unforgivable fear of being wrong. The belief is to err is to lose credibility, and to lose credibility is to shrivel up and die. So, they will never speak well of any company that they either cannot be assured by history won't turn around and bite them in the ass or make them look like a genius. Not to slight analysts, but to recognize that they will never be on the cutting edge of anything.

As far as day trade or hold, the movement on the net stocks is unprecedented and there is no one who can predict the action or the future. I know many who have day traded uBid, and as I earlier suggested, hated themselves in the morning for having done it. But will it be the same tomorrow? Who knows. I know where my bet is, but that has to do with my faith in my own analysis. For anyone else, I believe that there is still more gold in them hills, a lot more, but it takes a strong back (not to mention stomach) to keep looking for it. Whether or not you can tolerate the risk is a purely personal matter.
