Yeah this is apparently very damaging.
I wanted to find out more on this. I thought this was a part of the Starr report that wasnt disclosed, and that this is what swayed the remaining moderate republicans towards impeachment.
I dont know if this info was obtained via Starr. If so, it looks to me like YET MORE reactionary information obtained and disclosed as a result of the undesired reaction by moderates/the public on the last set of "very damaging" dirt that Starr dug up. In other words, the argument for the details in the Starr report was always - "we have to put it all out there, otherwise the dems will accuse us of hiding something, blah blah blah, therefore we are justified in our zeal at humilating our highest office". OK so if you accept that argument, happy Starr report to you. But then, the reaction to the Starr report was ho-hum (NOT what Kenneth Starr expected), so now, we need more. Enter J.Doe #5. Why wasnt this included in the Starr report huh? Since we needed to include EVERY DETAIL. Could it be because J.Doe #5 is somehow not referencable in some way, or not credible/provable.
I dont care how bad it is, if Starr was somehow involved in unleashing this J.Doe info, and yet, it wasnt in the Starr report, then I dont believe it.
