Dog,

I know you are a true believer but your criticisms are irrelevant.
The issue is what is going on at CPQ not what is going on at DELL.
DELL is not changing its business model. It is not purchasing other companies. It has produced extremely consistent growth in earnings, revenues and EPS. We know what MD is doing with his money.
We can not say the same for CPQ's situation.

You are avoiding the issue of how CPQ is going to reduce its operational costs by a huge amount this quarter. Without those cost reductions they can not produce the earnings that are projected to be 36 cents per share. This is relevant. The runup promotion in CPQ stock is predicated on these earnings and yet not one single analyst has addressed this crucial issue.

If you add fact that the senior VP of CPQ have basically been dumping their positions since the beginning of the CPQ stock promotion, it adds circumstantial evidence that the performance projections are not correct for this quarter.

Now if you do not like that, too bad.
These threads are for the purpose of discussing these issues not
cheerleading and obfuscating.

Regards,

Jim Kelley
