Thanks for the welcome ... I tried an option trade or two last year successfully. My flying and ham radio buddy Eric is always talking up CSCO and COMS and something finally triggered in my brain (cause I don't own either stock) that maybe I ought to do a few options trades on them. So, get the picture about three weeks ago. Eric and I are talking back and forth on our 'private' ham radio frequency when I enter the small trades on CSCO XMAS 80 and 85s. Being the LT investor he is, the airwaves are full of his cautions (Dennis ...you're gambling! Be careful). But, pulled it off for both and got out at 200%+. Unfortunately, didn't hold until expiration day when they really soared. And, also unfortunately held COMS XMAS 45 calls UNTIL expiration. Hoping against Hope...hanging on in a fury of non-discipline while getting flagellated by Eric on the radio! So, I should be happy I ended up still ahead on all 3 and at least covered my commission on the COMS calls, right? Life is short, but I think I may run out of adrenalin first!
