Anyone knows what's the 30-days DEADLINE date?

Reuters released news on Friday Jan 17 - 30 days deadline looks like Feb 16.

From BRE-X statement looks like deadline is Feb 14:
"We are in receipt of the letter from the Minister of Mines and Energy, dated January 15, 1997, and acknowledge a 30-day deadline to complete negotiations pertaining to the development of the Busang gold fields."
