JohnD, Thanks for the information on the options. I appreciate it. I thought of something else to add. If MSFT decides to preannounce that its earnings will be much better than current estimates - my prediction would be that such a pre announcement would be accompanied with a stock split. However I doubt there will be a positive preannouncement. In any event, I am still expecting some positive analyst action early in the new year and this will boost the stock in a big way especially if Goldman Sachs does something. My point about the internet was that such action in those stocks may prompt an analyst to upgrade MSFT because it is at the heart of this phenomena. BTW, Now I am expecting 160 by the earnings date.
