Scrapps, Your right, luck of the draw has nothing to do with it. They were choosen to ask questions because they requested a chance to ask their questions. This is done during the conference call by pressing certain keys on the phone. Questions are answered in the order requested, time allowing.

I not sure how you think analyst profit from the stock they analyze. Most firms prohibit or at least severely limit an analyst's ability to trade stocks he follows. Analysts' bias stems more from personal pride or personal relationships with managements (good and bad) than with monetary returns.
