To all--Just saw a blurb on the CBS Evening News re: the power situation in certain regions of Russia. As some of you may know some cities cannot pay for fuel to generate much power if any. These Russians are now in the deep freeze of winter with frozen, burst and leaking pipes and sewage frozen in toilets. (No information as to whether or not sewage plant are pumping or even can given that pipes are frozen.) Many individuals and families are apartment dwellers who probably had no control over the decision to drain their pipes in preparation for severe weather. There is an unfortunate lesson to be learned here. "flatsville"
