Whether its Barrick, or Placer or anyone else, I dont blame them for not being straight forward with firm offers on the bargaining table. Bre-x(Walsh, McAnulty et al) on the other hand , has the responsibility to its shareholders to let it be known what the offers are.
I have never witnessed a better game of manipulation of shareholders' interests than what is happening right now.
No wonder we see deadlines, threats, and indecision in Indo. There is absolutely no shareholder interest on their part because we are all sitting on our hands, holding our breath, hoping the price will sky-rocket . And our friends at Bre-x love the non-accountability.
Therefore, I would encourage everyone on this thread to call Bre-x and make it known that negotiating is fine, but tell us what is going on. After all we are supposed to be on the same team.
