fort, the WHOLE PC INDUSTRY, minus two players - apple and dell, aren't doing well. MOST of the direct market isn't doing well. MOST of the indirect model isn't doing well.

MOST of the entire industry isn't doing well. this is a pc issue, not a direct model issue. as the hwp's lower prices 20% in the corporate market the dell's and the direct boys won't be able to hold their prices. they lower or they lose the business.

20% isn't chump change for a company struggling for a little bit of growth.

btw, all this semi turn crap led to a 30 cent loss for mu excluding the tax gain. WOW! WHAT A BOOM! ;-) now, supply ramps and demand gets cramps. just wait, "inventory correction!"
