I really don't think you should hit MJ with the spatula; she's such a good person and such an excellent cook and you might traumatize her and she'll never cook again and someday I really want to eat MJ's cooking--in fact, don't give a whole lot more thought to this entire episode. If you who knows me so well and tends to see life from the same confused angle that I do, didn't understand what I was writing, then I would hate to imagine how confused other people were. Maybe they think that CW, wearing cute green velvet liederhosen to his 18th birthday party threw a tantrum and smashed his cake. (Ah-a name for their new rock group! Smashing Cakes!) because his controlling and manipulative mommy dearest who dictates every bite of food that enters his mouth wanted him to eat his pureed carrots first. Yes-it's true, friends. We reenact this same psychotic and sordid scene every birthday-- all families have their little rituals. I have bronchitis and am on that steroid pack thingy and antibiotics --do you think that could account for my confusion? or maybe it's the the Robitussin? I probably won't remember any of this tomorrow. I'm beginning to worry about Alzheimers. I'm reading a book about this poor woman who writes newspaper columns and she gets it. But the She With Alzy sounds just the way I am already. She forgets words and names and why she's walked into the kitchen, and what people are saying to her because she's looking at their noses and thinking about what silly things noses are and .. I do that all the time. As a matter of fact, her columns began not making sense.... People were---confused by her..... They laughed at her... And were mean to her.....
