Before you spend $4000 on a Micron Laptop. The going price for a 133 with at least 1 gig. Consider some other options:
A laptop with pentium 100, 850mb hard drive with 16mb RAM, active matrix, 6X cd rom, and internal 33.6 modem can be purchased under $2500. Maybe even cheaper. Hitachi's comes with usr's modem, and so does several other companies. I even saw an ad that if you purchased a fujitsu milan (Sacramento's Computer City), they will throw in the usr pilot.
Look in the local ads, they are almost giving last years model away. To the nake eye you won't notice any difference between Pentium 100 and pentium 133. The chances of you using up the 850mb hd is highly unlikely, unless you want to operate OS2 with voice reconigtion.
And if you already have all of the software that you want, consider going to a local chop shop, or a no name builder and have them configure a laptop for you. It'll save you even more money. And there service people are actually going to help you, you don't have to call a 800 number and hope you don't have to ship it back to them to fix.
The major difference will be in the fatter wallet and more money to buy usrx if it keeps going down. You do so much research on usrx, and you will spend about 50 shares amount of money on your laptop, they are both investments. Research the laptops too.
