Fish are indeed much more interesting than television. The larger tank is a 35 gal acrylic; it's heavily planted, has clown, yoyo, and coolie loaches, cardinals, danios, various tetras, flying foxes, pygmy cats, otos. And a couple of tin foil barbs that are bullying the rest of the tank. There's a Madagascar lace plant, the leaves have a sort of skeleton look.

The smaller tank is only a 10 gallon. Has plants, some Harlequins, a twig cat, a tiny clown loach, and a zoo of fancy guppies. And a couple of golden apple snails. I tried snails in the large tank but the big loaches eat them. I keep eyeing a tall 80 gallon show tank that I haven't got room for. Figure by next Christmas I'll have two, and it will be impossible to get from one side of the house to the other without going outside.
