NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Gerard Klauer Mattison raised its 12-month
price target on America Online Inc. to $175 Thursday after the company
was included in S&P 500 index.

Analyst Arthur Newman said, in addition to the S&P 500 inclusion, he
also expects positive results from AOL's pending acquisition of Netscape
Communications Corp. (NSCP) and its planned joint venture with
Venezuela's Cisneros Group to launch service in Latin America.
The target also reflects "a little bit if a relative valuation play
here," Newman said. AOL is probably the best stock within the rising
Internet sector, he said.
Newman rates AOL a "buy," which is Gerard Klauer Mattison's highest
rating.
