Analysts hype....showing greed.... Most of you have tunnel vision, just what the analysts want, only looking at the EPS. The EPS is an illusion, you need to look at the other numbers to get the real picture. Inventories up 23.6%, Net sales down 17.1%, long-term debt up 110.5%. With the trend to lower priced computers, prices for SDRAM will be hard to increase and we are now entering the slow period for sales, the holiday shopping is over. Food for thought, CompUSA reported poor sales a few months ago and they were very cautious about the holiday season, this is a red flag for computer sales. The analysts want you to think computer and semiconductor sales are great, but the reality is that corporate spending will decrease. The true numbers are starting to come out and show how analysts are hyping.
