My question relates to stock buying decisions. Are buying decisions made differently when one buys a stock for holding long term (and then how does one know when to sell) as opposed to buying for the short term ie holding for 1 hour, 1 day, or whatever the case may be. It seems to me that if one is buying short term, then by the time the research is finished, the stock has already made its move up and is on its way down. Please comment when you can.
