We lost Geo Au! We are going to sorely miss him. He's is one of the cornerstones of Yahoo, and provided a unique perspective. I am very disappointed, but understand his decision and wish him the best. We will do our best to look after his investment. I have been unable to resolve the S2000 DFI issue. Most versions of the press release did not mention it, but two did claim DFI (HP) was being employed. None of the major magazine tests have mentioned it, although I believe these were introductory tests probably conducted on a rush basis and not on a production version (hand built instead). We need a closeup view of the motor so we can tell if the injectors are mounted in their typical position right at the intake manifold/head junction or instead into the head itself. The car is LEV, not ULEV, so that doesn't help either. Honda could conceivably make LEV without DFI (if anyone could they could). Mercury comments on the future of outboards: boatdealer-marina-info.com (click on "This Week's News") Merger mania continues. For some reason I just think Ford and BMW are a match. That rumor has persisted for a while, and Ford just unloaded a portion of their only recently increased position in Kia (raising cash to buy Volvo?): detroitnews.com cbs.marketwatch.com customnews.cnn.com I submitted a string of questions to the engineer from CARB who contacted me, but I really don't expect a reply until after the New Year. I'm hoping I can find a way to determine CA's intentions of fuels. MTBE has really stirred things up already. I will be attending a major boat show in February. This will allow me to look at Ficht in the Polaris and Tigersharks and the cat in the Yamaha. I'm actually more interested in the cat. I truly appreciate the support I've received. I acknowledge I've crossed over the line sometimes, and you all have been forgiving of my mistakes. Happy Holidays. George, we're really going to miss you.
