I don't think I ever saw Duke play such great defense as they did against UK. I've rewatched the game several times now and the defense is amazing. If Duke was playing as well on the offensive end...we would have by 40!

All these UK fans say UK will get better. Perhaps they will, but Duke played onto UK's biggest weakness...no inside game. Without an inside game Duke was free to guard as tight as they wanted to on the perimeter. The fact that UK is shooting poorly as well didn't hurt. Who does UK have that poses a problem for Duke? Padgett...NO WAY! Evans...maybe but Battier and Carrawell are great defenders. Magloire...Keep Dreaming! Turner...If only he had a jump shot...

Subtracting the final 2 minutes of the game, I can count on one hand the number of times UK got an open shot. Everything was contested. All UK shots had a hand in their face.
