As every body in the world is trying to horn in on the interest in the net stocks (anybody else notice the slew of spam trying to hype anything that has an e in front of its name or a dot com behind), its giving the real net stocks cause to shudder. These newly hyped stocks are the net version of vaporware. Beware anything that doesn't yet exist and beware anything where people are posting hype inappropriately. P&D's are everywhere now.

As for uBid today, I can't say that it is disappointing to see it slide some. It is. But I also can't say that some profit-taking shouldn't be expected, particularly given that it was a sitting duck for all the analysts who aren't in the stock. On the bright side, even this is consistent with the eBay paradigm, and has been surprising that it hadn't happened already. The close will be instructive, bearing in mind that if it remains above Tuesday's close, it is a bullish indication. At least to me. I'm sure some analyst will say I told you so.
