You have to make to a college football game, and a big one at that. Having been to just about every college and professional sporting venue, I can say that there really isn't anything like a big time college game.

I'd have to agree with you about Pinella. The Blue could have used someone like him when the Pizza was still in town. It looks like he brings chemistry to a team. I hope Davey will do the same for us this year. All things said and done, that may have been our most important pick up this year. He can make an immediate impact. I still would have prefered Alou. Players like that guy.

The problem with Pinella it seems to me is that he hasn't done much lobby M management to bring in the pitchers.

I think Clemens decided he would get a better deal when his contract is up in two years. Either that or he is hoping a trade will happen during the season. If he is smart, however, he will use the momentum of the Cy Young to get something signed ASAP. He is not getting any younger. Speaking of which, my boy Kevin, will probably be throwing a 65 mile/hour fast ball by the time his contract is up. But they needed to make a move now, and I think he's got two, maybe, three in him still where he may be able to dominate.

I think the blue have one more trade in them. They have an extra shortstop and starting pitcher. These Larkin rumors sound interesting so long as they don't trade Eric Young or Mondesi, two of my favorite Dodgers.
